The Sri Lankan community in Milan recently joined an intercultural gathering hosted at the Church of Scientology, focused on dialogue, integration and shared ethical values. The meeting highlighted an intercultural values event in Milan, using the common-sense moral code Community written by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard as a basis for discussion.

The event gave families, community leaders and young people a space to discuss responsibility, mutual respect and the role of values in integration. The presence of young participants gave the event a forward-looking character, connecting cultural identity with civic responsibility and respect for others.

Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to the European Union, the OSCE, the Council of Europe and the United Nations, said such initiatives show how shared values can build trust across cultures. The Milan event formed part of wider Scientology-supported efforts in Europe to encourage education, prevention, ethical values and community betterment.
